How much are cabins in Big Bear?Cabins in Big Bear vary in cost depending on the dates of stay and size of the cabin. For more information on available cabins and their pricing, you can browse our selection on Big Bear cabins and homes.

How do I go about booking a cabin?You may book 24/7 online.

Where do we go to check-in?508 Main St., Big Bear Lake, CA 92315. Please park in the back parking lot and enter from the front door. The back door under the stairs will be locked.

How do I check in?Check in for all properties located in Big Bear Lake is at our office at 508 Main St., Big Bear Lake, CA 92315. The office opens for check-in at 1:00PM; however, this does not guarantee an early check-in to the property which is set at 4:00PM. If you would like an early check-in, please inquire on the morning of your arrival.

What documents do I need to check-in?We will need a copy of your government photo ID and a signed copy of the Good Neighbor Policy (if staying in Big Bear Lake). If you haven’t signed the Good Neighboy Policy prior to check-in, a copy will be provided for you to sign at the office.

Can someone else check-in to my reservation for me?No. The guest whose name is on the reservation must be the guest who checks in and has their ID verified.

Can I add additional guests to my reservation?You may add guests to your reservation as long as the amount of people does not exceed the maximum occupancy stated in the property’s description. Each property has a maximum occupancy and maximum number of cars.

What time is check-in?Check-out is 11:00AM unless otherwise specified. Property specific check-out instructions will be provided to you the night before your departure.

Do we need to come back to the office to check-out?It is not required to return to the office to checkout.

What if I arrive after business hours?You must inform us prior to office closing the day of your arrival and we will make late check-in arrangements.

What is the minimum age to book?The minimum age to reserve a cabin is 21. No exceptions will be made.

Is it cheaper to book ahead of time?Prices are subject to change. If you book in advance, you will not be subject to variations in pricing.

Do you offer trip insurance?Big Bear Experiences Inc strongly recommends purchasing trip insurance; however, we are not a licensed insurance agency and do not provide trip insurance directly.

What is your cancellation policy?Free cancellations up to 14 days before arrival. No refunds for cancellations within 14 days of arrival.

How can I cancel my reservation?Please review the cancellation policy on the channel you made your reservation on. If booked with us directly, you may contact the office or send an email.

Can I pay in installments?No. All payments are due in full at time of reservation.

Are there any discounts available?We offer a variety of discounts and specials. Please check out our “Deals” page for current offers.

Can I bring pets?We have many properties which are marked as pet friendly. There is a $50.00 fee per pet per booking with a maximum of two (2) pets allowed. This fee is not included in the nightly rate or cleaning fee and is payable at or prior to check-in. If you’re unsure if a property is pet friendly, please contact us and we’ll confirm whether it is or isn’t.

Do I bring chains?By law, you are required to carry chains in your vehicle when traveling the mountains in winter months, even if they are not required to be on your tires or if you have 4WD. Can you park on the street?Street parking is not allowed anywhere in Big Bear Lake. Each property has a maximum number of parking. We are not liable for towed vehicles or citations due to improper parking.

Are linens provided?We provided all linens and towels. Spare towels for the spa/hot tub must be requested prior to arrival.

Is firewood provided?Firewood is not provided but is available for purchase at many local stores.

Can I park an RV at my rental?RV parking is forbidden unless otherwise stated.

Can I park my Boat at my rental?If there is space, boat parking is permitted.

Do your cabins have A/C?Most cabins do not have AC in Big Bear. If the cabin has AC, it will be clearly stated in the description.

Do I need to bring my own kitchen utensils?Standard kitchen equipment is provided including basic silverware, dinnerware, and cooking items.

Do I need to bring any linens or towels?Linens and towels are provided. Towels to spa/hot tub use are provided upon request prior to check-in.

Will I have any chores?No, you will not have any chores related to the property. Guests in Big Bear Lake are required to take their trash to the local trash sites. During the snow season, a shovel is provided to assist with clearing snow accumulation during your stay.

Why do I have to dispose of my own trash?Trash disposal at check-out is a citywide ordinance for vacation rentals in Big Bear Lake. Rentals in unincorporated areas of San Bernardino County may use the black bins at each property.

Does my baby count toward the total occupancy?Yes.

Are events allowed in the homes?No party, wedding, or other gathering exceeding occupancy limits is permitted at any time.

Is there a curfew?Yes, the use of an outdoor spa or any other activity that disturbs the peace is prohibited between the hours of 10 pm and 7 am. No noise or loud music is allowed to be heard at the property line at any given time.

Is Big Bear Lake a public lake?Yes! Big Bear Lake is public and free to access.

How much do I have to pay to make a reservation?Payment in full is required at time of booking.

Is there a security deposit?Security deposits vary depending on the platform of booking, size of your party, and size of the property.

When do I get my deposit back?If a security deposit is taken, it will be refunded with 10 days of your checkout provided there are no damages.

Are there any other fees?A cleaning fee, reservation fee, credit card fee, and pet fee may apply. All fees will be included at check-out except for pet fee which is payable prior to your arrival or at check-in.

Do you have a loyalty program?Returning guests may follow us on Instagram for 10% off the total nightly rate.

Can I pay cash for my reservation?We do not accept cash payments.
